After a hugely successful Spring and Summer programme with lots of superb students we would just like to share the new dates for 2025/6.
SSHM Courses
Our interactive 10 month Home Help Correspondence Course celebrates over 35 years of Herbal education around the globe and starts anytime throughout the year.
Apprenticeship in Herbal Medicine a year long immersive medicinal plant study. Starts by Correspondence Course in Jan 2026. Face to face is in 2 parts 9th – 30th June and 8th – 29th August 2026 full board on the island. Applications now open.
12 day Celtic Herbal Medicine Intensive. April 12th – 26th 2026
Exploring our rich Celtic Heritage of Medicinal Plants through direct experience, field trips to sacred sites and an Elemental approach. Ends with a fire ceremony for Beltane.
Includes practical Herbal Remedies for overall health. Getting up close and personal with plants. Log fires – fully catered for. Involves studying at the Herb farm while staying nearby in a cottage in Kildonan by the sea. Tutors Nicola Dee Kelly, Keith Robertson and guest Danny O’Rawe.
3 day Residential on the Holy Isle off the Isle of Arran. May 2026

Come along and share the delights of Natures Wild Medicine Chest with experienced Traditional Herbalists Nicola Dee Kelly MNIMH and Keith Robertson FNIMH. We will be meeting plants in their amazing herb and vegetable garden and hedgerows and collect treasures to create a variety of preparations. These will include teas, decoctions, flower essences, infused oils, poultices etc. Make your own herbal preparations to complete this kit and take it (and the knowledge of how to use it) home for basic self-help for family and friends.
